How is 'Baby Your Back' Different?

'Baby Your Back' is revolutionary. Back pain is minimized because it contains Back-A-Line’s patented lumbar support, which was proven in a peer-reviewed ergonomic study to be the only back support to actually improve posture. (Poor posture is the 'primary' cause of back pain, especially during pregnancy.)

Back and abdominal discomfort is further minimized by 'Baby Your Back's non-stretch design. Most other maternity supports are elastic, which fail to reduce the change in your center of gravity due to the forward pull of the abdominal weight. In contrast, 'Baby Your Back' eliminates weight shift (stretching of skin) and allows the weight to be balanced over the hips and pelvis.

What Size And Colors Are Available?

The 'Baby Your Back' is available in two attractive colors: black and natural, a pleasant off-white color. The belt is available in three sizes, adjusted to reflect waist size during pregnancy: S (31-36"), M (35-40"), L (39-44").

To find your correct size, take your measurements the same way the 'Baby Your Back' will be worn. Start at the waist level of the lumbar spine and measure diagonally around the hips and under the abdomen. The 'Baby Your Back' is designed to allow for 10 - 13" of growth during pregnancy.

Endorsements

After more than 20 years of delivering babies and caring for expectant mothers, Dr. Wheeler Hubbell comments:

"The firm, curved lumbar pad seems to alleviate back pain by promoting and supporting good posture during pregnancy. Moreover, the non-stretch design of the belt supports the extra weight of the abdomen, minimzing forward movement and allowing it to be balanced over the hips and pelvis."

Back-A-Line has been praised by chiropractors, sports physicians, and other health professionals. Read what they have to say about the design of the Back-A-Line family of belts.
